The Financial Services edition of the 2022 黑料社Trust Barometer measures the headwinds facing the financial services sector. Signaled by distrust in central banks and financial services, developed countries lack economic optimism. Moreover, financial services employees believe capitalism as it exists today does more harm than good in the world. Trust across subsectors including banks and personal insurance increases; however, digital wealth management and cryptocurrency fall further behind. Notably, the U.S. is one of three countries with double-digit declines in financial services trust since 2019.
